Elizabeth’s career spans healthcare, finance, education, retail/eCommerce, energy, and transportation/logistics, where she has successfully led strategic initiatives that have improved efficiency, expanded market reach, and enhanced financial performance. Her expertise in business development, revenue cycle optimization, and operational restructuring has made her a trusted advisor to startups, established enterprises, and high-growth organizations alike.

Beyond her work at Diable Consulting, Elizabeth embraces a vibrant and dynamic lifestyle. A devoted mom of three boys and “Mimi” to two grandchildren, she balances her professional success with personal passions. She channels her creativity into her cottage kitchen bakery, DABsolutely Dreamy Bakery, crafting indulgent treats for her community. When she’s not consulting or baking, you’ll find her commanding the stage as the lead vocalist of The Uncommitted, a high-energy party and dance band electrifying audiences across the Mid-Atlantic region.

James W. Richard II

Mr. Richard is an attorney experienced in labor and employment law matters. James represents labor unions in a variety of ways, including but not limited to contract bargaining, unfair labor practices, grievances, and arbitration. Additionally, James represents federal and private sector employees in adverse actions, wrongful terminations, contract violations, discrimination complaints, harassment complaints, and retaliation. James's practice includes litigating on behalf of clients in federal and state courts and various administrative forums, such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB), and the Federal Labor Relations Authority (FLRA).

Before joining Gilbert Employment Law as a James successfully managed and operated a law practice focused on employment and labor law matters. Additionally, for more than a decade, James served as the Deputy General Counsel with the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE), Local 1923 (one of the largest locals for one of the largest federal unions in the country). James is also a certified Mediator and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Investigator who has conducted more than seven hundred (700) independent EEO investigations.

James graduated with his Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law; and holds a Bachelor of the Arts in the Administration of Justice from Howard University.

Mr. Richard is a member of the following associations: The American Bar Association; The Maryland Bar Association; The National Employment Lawyers Association; and The Metropolitan Washington Employment Lawyers 

Colin Murray 

Colin is an experienced financial leader with 20 years of industry experience spanning multiple industries and geographies.  He has held leadership roles including serving as a Business Unit CFO in multi-national Fortune 500 businesses in addition to being the CFO of a mid-market private equity-backed manufacturer.  In these roles, Colin oversaw end-to-end financial processes including accounting, financial planning & analysis, business integrations, and treasury management.

Since leaving the corporate world, Colin's mission is simple: to provide small and growing businesses with the financial clarity they need to succeed without having to bring on a full-time CFO.  His passion lies in educating business leaders on the key drivers of their business financial performance.  This stems from his belief that true financial success goes beyond the numbers.  Instead it requires a focus on aligning financial goals with operational strategies and making decisions that create lasting value.  

Colin has a B.S in Finance from Miami University (Ohio), an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).  

Outside of work, Colin serves as a board member for a local chamber of commerce.  His personal life is centered around spending time with his wife and two daughters in addition to hitting the trails for a run.

Jessica Reese 

Jessica brings over a decade of experience in the banking and financial services industry, with a specialized focus on financial analysis, forensic auditing, and data-driven decision support. Her career spans corporate finance, commercial lending, and wealth management—giving her a holistic understanding of how financial systems operate and where inefficiencies or risks may hide.

As Chair of Financial Insights & Forensic Analysis at Diable Consulting, Jessica helps clients uncover the story behind the numbers. Her expertise lies in identifying patterns in complex financial data, exposing hidden cost drivers, validating revenue streams, and ensuring financial integrity across operations. From optimizing cash flow to preparing businesses for investment or audit readiness, Jessica works hand-in-hand with clients to implement sound financial strategies that enhance performance, reduce risk, and support sustainable growth.

Jessica Kovacs 

Jessica is a seasoned Fractional HR professional with over 20 years of experience in human resources. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Labor and Industrial Relations and a Master’s in Human Resources from Pennsylvania State University, she brings a wealth of expertise in employee relations, compliance, and HR strategy and Payroll services. Jessica's decision to partner with Diable Consulting stems from a shared vision of delivering tailored, impactful solutions that drive business success.
